Engraving

In order to personalise your jewellery purchase we are able to engrave in both surface, 'sunk for show' (deep) or for that very special touch in facsimile.

Seal Engraving

George Attenborough have a selection of the finest gold and stone-set signet rings and offer a comprehensive engraving service, from helping to trace a family crest through to commissioning an original Coat of Arms from the College of Arms. Signet rings are available in 9ct and 18ct gold at competitive prices in a choice of styles chosen to accommodate almost any shape and size of crest.

Pearl Stringing

We offer a comprehensive pearl stringing service for all kinds of necklaces, chokers and pearl jewellery.

Designs/Commissions

We can through 'design' stage to 'finished jewel' create from individual designs a bespoke piece of jewellery.

Fine Jewellery & Watch Repairs

Repairs are undertaken by skilled craftsmen in workshops on the premises. Charges begin at £75 plus VAT which should cover the cost of a simple re-sizing of gem-set gold rings or the re-stringing of a single row of uniform pearls. George Attenborough specialise in the re-modelling of old jewellery and are always happy to offer on the par-exchange or outright purchase of unwanted items of jewellery.

Valuations for Insurance

George Attenborough are pleased to provide a complimentary valuation for any item of jewellery purchased from ourselves (at point of sale) moreover any subsequent valuations will be charged at only one percent difference between our last and current valuation. We also undertake to value an item/items for insurance purposes for which we charge a £25 handling fee plus 1% of the value of items. All charges are subject to VAT.
